Going on a carnival cruise for vacation in the summer gives you so many possibilities on what to do with your beautiful day. There are activities on the deck all day long like dancing and games and ice sculpting. You can listen to live bands while in the swimming pool or go on the tall waterslides. Or you can stay in where it’s cooler and gamble and drink (for those of age). But probably the best part about being on a cruise is the food.
You can basically eat all day and all night. There are buffets for breakfast and lunch that offers everything from fruit and pancakes to cake and tacos and burgers. Dinner is the special meal of the day to get all dressed up. Every night there are multiple entrees that are to die for. Steak, fish, lobster and chicken were my favorites and I ate more than one every night. The main course accompanied by fresh bread and salad, soup or fruit. Not to mention the seemingly unending array of desserts compiled of cakes, cheesecakes, pies, ice cream and those real fancy desserts.
Not only is the food absolutely mind blowing, but the atmosphere and servers and entertainer make every second fun and extremely enjoyable. There is even a conga line on the last night that consists of all the servers and anyone else who wishes to join in. And on the other nights there are consistent dancing opportunities.
Now for the night owls that don’t sleep until 4 in the morning, there is an all night buffet along with multiple random food stations with munchies.
I have to say that the week I was on the cruise was the best week of eating food in my life. I definitely need to go on another one just for the food.
